A strike by employees of CIS Security Services at Rundu entered its third day, with workers saying the company has allegedly failed to pay them for the past three months.

The company employs 49 guards for its security services contract at the University of Namibia's Rundu Campus.

The workers vowed to continue their strike and only return to work once they received their outstanding salaries.

However, the company's manager and secretary at Rundu went missing after making promises to the striking workers.
