The Namibian Correctional Facility is cautioning the public not to make any monetary payment to any person claiming to assist in securing employment in the National Correctional Service.

In a media statement, Commissioner General Raphael Hamunyela says they have been receiving numerous complaints from job seekers who fell victim to paying money to strangers offering to facilitate job placement in the Service.

This follows the announcement of job openings last year.

He said the recruitment process is still ongoing, and the names of the shortlisted candidates will be released on or before the 13th of this month.
