More than 150 underprivileged learners of the Ngwangwa Primary School in the Kavango West Region received school uniforms and stationery, worth N$50 000.

Rent a Drum, Snyman Transport, Shoprite and Woermann Brock this week collectively made the donation. 

The donation consists of a full school uniform set for each beneficiary, stationery and toiletries.

The Chief Education Officer Kavango West Region Edward Likuwa highlighted the various challenges faced by school. The shortage of teaching and learning resources at the school and the lack of desks and chairs are some the problems he pointed out. He also added that the  uniforms are going to restore the learners' confidence and give them  a sense of pride of belonging to ngwangwa primary school.

Likuwa  encouraged the parents and the beneficiaries to take good care of the school uniforms.
