President Nangolo Mbumba is hopeful that the message of unity, inclusivity and shared prosperity as championed by the late President Hage Geingob will continue to resonate as Namibians put in the hard work to build a better Namibia.

The legacy of the late President Hage Geingob endures, not only in Namibia's history but also in the hearts of his daughters, Dangos, Nangula, and Oshoveli Geingos.

Each continues to honour their father's memory uniquely, upholding the values he instilled in them.

The Swapo Party has said the late President Hage Geingob will always be remembered for his unwavering dedication to the struggle for equal opportunities for all Namibians.

February 4th marks the first anniversary of the death of Namibian leader Hage Geingob. 

As the first Prime Minister of Namibia, Dr. Geingob introduced the powerful metaphor of 'The Namibian House,' symbolising a vision of a united and inclusive nation where every citizen feels valued.

On the first anniversary of the late President Hage Geingob's death, his family remembers him as a family man.

Geingob would, on Family Day, invite family members to his farm near Otavi.

This time it was different, though, given his absence.
