Namibia will consider Eswatini's request to support its candidate, Moses Vilakati, for the position of AU Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy, and Sustainable Development.

President Nangolo Mbumba has applauded the government of Eswatini for accommodating Mozambican nationals as refugees, providing them with necessary assistance.

Dr. Mbumba conveyed the message to King Mswati III through his special envoy and Minister of Labour and Social Security, Phila Buthelezi.

The second suspect in the Namib Desert Diamonds (NAMDIA) robbery, Sam Shololo, was caught in the act of the crime, the state informed the Windhoek Magistrates Court.

NAMDIA has maintained that it will hold a press briefing on the heist only when the time is appropriate.

Spokesperson Beverley Coussement emphasized that the robbery remains under investigation and that discussing unverified details could compromise efforts to resolve the case.
