Education, Arts, and Culture Minister Anna Nghipondoka has called on teachers to work harder, identify challenges in the system, and address them to improve performance. 

She made these remarks at a meeting attended by the educators, from the heads of departments down to the learners.

The Zambezi Bream Festival and Expo, aimed at uniting different communities, promoting local businesses, and supporting economic growth while allowing local vendors the opportunity to sell their products and services, is underway at Katima Mulilo.

Some vendors from Rundu Open Market admitted that even though they are entrepreneurs, they still lack financial discipline.

This realisation prompted Prince and Pemba Investments, a local business, to provide the vendors with financial management skills for free.

Namibia's fuel, wood, and charcoal exports generated over N$102 billion last year, and the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism is satisfied with the recent growth in the biomass sector.

Minister Pohamba Shifeta remarked on this at the opening of the Standard Bank Biomass Fair at Otjiwarongo.

Namibian entrepreneurs are urged to take advantage of the newly introduced Mining Inputs Database to discover business prospects within the sector. 

The database was launched at the mining expo and conference held in the capital.
