In remembrance of the late Dr. Hage Geingob, former learners, board members, and parents of Hage Geingob High School gathered at Emmanuel Parish in Windhoek for a candlelight ceremony to pay tribute and celebrate the life and legacy of the late President.

In 2022, Namibia welcomed over 527,000 inbound visitors, who collectively spent approximately N$14,8 billion in Namibia.

This was revealed at the launch of the sixth edition of Namibia's Tourism Satellite Account in Windhoek.

Vendors in the capital have expressed sorrow and sadness over the death of Dr. Hage Geingob.

Vendors at Okuryangava Stop and Shop said, with the late President's administration, they have not experienced having their products confiscated by authorities for operating in the streets.

The late Dr. Hage Geingob was also known for his dedication to fostering small business enterprises, and some entrepreneurs say he left behind a legacy of economic empowerment and community development among the youth of Namibia.

Members of the public, government officials, and representatives from various organisations continue visiting the Geingob residence to pay their respects and offer their condolences to the widow, Monica Geingos, and her family.
