STANLIB Namibia's Manager Sade Gertze says local growth is expected to slow down during 2023 and 2024, largely due to weaker global demand.

Teachers at Eldorado Secondary School in Windhoek refused to teach lessons yesterday after a fellow teacher was stabbed in the chest by a father of a learner.

The teacher was stabbed with a screwdriver after he slapped a learner who in turn called his father to deal with the elder man.

NBC Sport reported on a matter that focused on the lack of Basketball facilities in Namibia as highlighted by KBA Marketing Manager, John Tjirimuje. To shed more light on the issue, producer Victorine Kaaronda sat down with Namibia Basketball Federation president, Nigel Mubita.

The Namibian Police have conferred 51 officers, 30 men, and 21 women, from all 14 regions with new ranks.

However, due to distance only 23 could attend the official event in Windhoek, with the rest being conferred by their respective regional commanders.
