NAMFISA has launched the first-ever FinTech Square, an initiative aimed at driving financial inclusion and innovation, as well as mitigating some emerging financial risks.

Namibia Revenue Agency's (NamRA) Commissioner Sam Shivute has urged individuals and businesses to be tax compliant. Shivute made the call during a media information-sharing session at Walvis Bay.

Governor Pijoo Nganate has described late farmer Luis van Der Merwe as a pioneer in the farming community of the Omaheke Region. Van Der Merwe died aged 74 last Saturday after a short illness at the Lady Pohamba Private Hospital.

Mourners gathered to pay tribute to Jane Katjavivi, who died last week on a plane back to Windhoek. Katjavivi, a Namibian author and publisher is the wife of the National Assembly Speaker Professor Peter Katjavivi.
