Seaside Primary School at Walvis Bay raised over N$100,000 for the construction of an administration building.

Seaside Primary School at Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, opened doors in 2017, with 600 learners and 19 teachers.

This figure has since increased to 1,700 children with about 60 staff members.

Venezuela's Embassy in Namibia has reaffirmed its commitment to peace, solidarity, and the sovereignty of the people. 

Ambassador Magaly González made the remarks against the backdrop of rising tensions between the United States and Venezuela over alleged drug cartels.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Friday questioned Acting Executive Director in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform, Ben Haraseb, about a consultancy firm allegedly paid N$4 million to assist in integrating former Agribusdev staff into the ministry.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah said she will do everything in her power to ensure that the difficulties experienced by green schemes are addressed. 

The President is on a mission to make sure that the country feeds itself and is asking for everyone to play their part. 

Ford has recalled about 22,000 vehicles across the Southern African Region, of which 657 units were sold in Namibia.

The announcement was made by Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa last week.
