Kaizen Football Acedamy (KFA) are the new champions of the Khomas League under 15 Tournament. They beat Swallows by three goals to one in the final match held at the NFA Technical Centre yesterday. The tournament that saw 12 teams taking part was left with KFA and Swallows to battle it out for the top spot in a 40-minute long final game. It was KFA who came close in the first half when Utava Uamunika was denied by the crossbar from a free kick. Later, Swallow's striker Brave Mathesu did well but missed out on a crucial chance which saw both teams going into half time goalless. KFA came back a different team in the second period as they opened the scoring with a stunning goal from captain Romeo Amon. Then Uamunika made it two nil for KFA, with a simple tip after same good work by promising Morientes Bengo. The Khomasdal-based academy took the game beyond Swallows reach when Prince Goagoseb coolly placed the ball in the net. Swallow's Methew Naobeb scored a consolation goal from the spot, but the encounter ended three one as KFA were crowned Champions. The KFA players were excited with the whole team performance as they got a trophy and medals for their efforts Organiser Lazarus Xoagub was also pleased with the tournament in general and thanked everybody who took part in the event. With KFA crowned champions and Swallows left in second place, We Love Africa went home with a bronze medal in third place.
