Namibian cyclist Michelle Vorster is set to represent Namibia at the MTB Australia Championships. Namibian cyclist Michelle Vorster has been hard at work in preparing for the upcoming Australia MTB Championships, which will take place on the 9th of September. This will be her second time to represent Namibia at the event. Last year she came 49th and according to her she wants to improve her performance this year. “I have been training hard this year as I will try to go and make Namibia proud,” she explained as she feels she is well prepared, compared to last year. It’s been a busy year for Vorster as she represented Namibia at the African Continental Mountain Bike Championships in Mauritius where she won gold. Vorster is going to compete against the best in the world but she says she is not threatened by that as she just wants to improve her time. The cyclist also won the Nedbank national cross-country championship earlier this year.
