WBPHS sends two teams into u/19 momentum quarter finals

With the Momentum Schools Boards Trophy Rugby season coming to an end, this weekend will see the quarter finals of the league being played in Windhoek. Walvisbay Private High School is with two teams in the under nineteen league, one in the under-19 c and u-19 Super league. WBPHS' second team had a good season and ended on top in the under nineteen C division, not losing one game throughout the season. The brand of Rugby they played was to keep it simple and enjoy the game, and that worked out well for them. The second team over the weekend in their quarter final will be playing against Mariental's first team. Coach of the second team Willie van Zyl said they do not want to change anything about their practises for the weekend's game, and will stick to what has worked. “It is the first time in a long time that the second team has depth in the senior Rugby, as we always struggled. This year we have a lot of youngsters and it really went well. The guys are motivated” Van Zyl said. The u-19 Super League team of the WBPHS started off well in the early season, winning most of their games, but with four losses in a row and only one win after that, they ultimately ended in fifth spot on the log. They will be playing Windhoek High School, who ended fourth on the log in their quarter final encounter, who against WPHS won earlier in the season. Coach Morne Rust said they also don't want to change anything for now and will stick to their usual structures. ”We are keeping to the same structures. It is the end of the season and we do not want to change, maybe we will bring in a couple of surprises just to keep the other team on their toes” Rust said. The quarter finals will be played at the Hage Geingob stadium and on the Windhoek Gymnasium Rugby field, with games to kick off on Friday at 14:00, and Saturday at 8:00.
