National Democratic Party (NDP) president Martin Lukato Lukato says his party is advocating for a federal Namibia.

The grassroots politician stated his party's readiness for the 2024 and 2025 national elections.

The NDP leader held an impromptu media conference to share some outcomes of the "party workshop held in Windhoek".

During the briefing with his senior vice president, Brave Mwilima, Lukato says his party is advocating for a federal governance system.

Lawyer representing Fishrot accused says his clients will submit a not guilty plea once the trial commences

South African Advocate Vas Soni, who is representing three of the six accused implicated in the Fishrot corruption scandal case says his clients will submit a not-guilty plea once the trial commences.

Soni and advocate Thabang Phatela argued before a three-judge bench at the Supreme Court as the men dubbed the Fishrot kingpins' fight for freedom continues in their appeal for bail.

Soni among others, submitted that the assets of his clients have been restrained by the state and in fear that they might abscond should they be released on bail.
