The Erongo Regional Council is refusing to reinstate Arandis Constituency councillor, Benitha Imbamba, as Chairperson, despite a High Court order.
The Council held a special meeting at Swakopmund.
The National Road Safety Council (NRSC), together with the Erongo Regional Council and the Arandis Town Council, officially kicked off the ground-breaking ceremony of a N$60 million facility for the Arandis Emergency Response and Traffic Management Centre on Tuesday.
Benitha Imbamba, the chairperson of the Erongo Regional Council, has warned employers to stop bullying employees and engaging in unfair labor practices in the workplace.
Imbamba said this during the Regional Council's annual meeting at Swakopmund.
Erongo Regional Council has reiterated its commitment to service delivery.
Its Chairperson Benitha Imbamba said they have rated the best regional council in terms of customer service charter development and implementation by the office of the Prime Minister.
