President Nangolo Mbumba is in Cape Town, South Africa, to engage in discussions with President Cyril Ramaphosa. 

The leaders went into talks this afternoon aimed at strengthening economic ties and addressing shared regional priorities. 

A former American teacher, Brian Stupek, has taken it upon himself to embark on a 10,880-kilometre walk across the African continent to spread awareness about sound mental health. 

Stupek's initiative Walking Africa started in Cape Town on 26 June 2024 and is expected to end in Tunisia, northern Africa.

One of the long-distance runners, Linus Paulus, who is running under the UNAM Athletics Club, is seeking financial assistance to participate in the 49th Comrade Marathon in South Africa on June 9th.
