LPM discusses developmental challenges at Witvlei

The Operative Secretary of the Landless People's Movement (LPM), Dawid Eigub, says there is a need for the party to connect with all its members and establish the developmental challenges they face.

Eigub made the remark after an engagement with the community of Witvlei in the Okorukambe constituency.

Eigub stated that it's high time that the dignity of the people is restored by bringing development to them and contributing meaningfully to the country's economy. 

President Mbumba emphasises true independence as fundamental to national success

President Nangolo Mbumba says true independence is fundamental to the success and credibility of any nation, as it is the only way people can obtain their dignity and full humanity.

Dr. Mbumba was speaking at the 34th Independence Day celebrations at Katima Mulilo today, where thousands of people from the region and visitors gathered to witness the first national independence celebration in the region.

The event was festive as residents gathered to witness performances of the Namibia Defence Force (NDF), which is mostly liked by everyone.

Civil society and state institutions hail Constitution for restoring rights and dignity of all

Civil society groups and state institutions have hailed the Namibian Constitution, saying it has restored the rights and dignity of all without discrimination while addressing past injustices.

Namibians from different corners marked Constitution Day, which is normally held on February 9th.

Equal Namibia member Omar van Reenen says in the 32 years of Namibia's independence, the country has done well in preserving the provisions of the Constitution.
