Impact Tank honors indigenous heritage

The Impact Tank recently celebrated three years of honouring indigenous heritage.

The company, established in 2020 to cultivate dreams and assist entrepreneurs to grow, drives social impact and inspires cultural innovation in the country. Its Chief Executive Officer, Elzine Mushambi, says the company has grown over the last three years and has a team of 27 representatives across three continents.

MICT, Impact Tank Analysis Foundation sign MoU

The Ministry of Information Communication Technology and the Impact Tank Analysis Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on transforming self-sustaining digital programmes.

The MoU will accelerate employment in the digital and technology spaces.

Deputy Minister of ICT, Emma Theofelus says the MoU will further promote the acquisition of digital skills and establish Namibia as a participant on the Globe.

Modern digital tools potentially empowers women and girls

Modern digital tools can promote inclusive global economic growth and empower women and girls.

These were the sentiments shared by various speakers at the basic coding training award ceremony for 40 girls from disadvantaged backgrounds at Groot Aub Primary School.

Among them was 13-year-old Frandrieka Fundula, who believes teaching girls to code can inspire them to stay focused on their education.

"More girls need to be trained because they don't know how to work on computers and laptops."
