Vaalgras Primary School to offer Grade 8

Plans are afoot to expand the recently built state-of-the-art Vaalgras Primary School's curriculum to offer Grade 8 in 2025 to enhance learner enrollment numbers.

The ||Kharas Education Directorate Inspector for Kalahari Desert Education Circuit, Ryan Assegaai, revealed this in an interview with nbc News.

The government invested N$104 million for the construction of the Vaalgras Primary School and hostel blocks. 

The school, with a learner enrollment capacity of 550, opened its doors in April.

Currently, only 160 learners are enrolled at the school. 

NSIF contributes to infustracture development in Namibia

The Namport Social Investment Fund (NSIF) has invested more than N$25 million over the past two decades into infrastructure development and educational equipment throughout the country.

NSIF working committee member Noami Adams announced the figure during their handover of five computers, valued at N$74,000, to Vaalgras Primary School in Keetmanshoop.

Vaalgras Primary School, located in the Vaalgras village in the ||Kharas Region, is a brand new school that was built at a cost of more than N$100 million.
