Mixed feelings on 1904-08 Genocide Memorial Museum in National Assembly

Some Swapo MPs in the National Assembly have embraced a motion by NUDO member Joseph Kauandenge for the establishment of the 1904-08 Genocide Memorial Museum.

They, however, question what the difference is between this motion and the one tabled by former Swanu leader, Usutuaije Maamberua, which was discussed and adopted by the house.

In her motivation, Evelyn !Nawases-Taeyele, says such a museum requested by Kauandenge should not only be for OvaHerero and Nama people but for all Namibians.
