The Emma Hoogenhout Primary School Environmental Club has donated clothes, blankets, and toys to the Ombili Kids Soup Kitchen in Windhoek.
Over 200 children from underprivileged families benefitted from the donation.
Hundreds of senior people in the Donkerhoek, Katutura, have been identified by Round Table Namibia, a nonprofit organisation that focuses on community-based projects to improve the lives of communities, as beneficiaries of their programme.
The Epukiro Constituency Office and Tuva Tuva, a non-governmental organization, have donated blankets and other necessities to a group of people with disabilities in the constituency.
The donation, valued at more than N$50,000, is hoped to buffer them against the fast-approaching winter.
