Swakopmund-based lawyers Mercedes Ovis and Gerhard van der Merwe said there have been notable strides in improving labour relations in the country, particularly via collective bargaining and through amendments made to the Labour Act.

The legal experts said this during the discussion on the Wheels of Justice Programme, which focused on the progress made in Namibia's labour laws since the end of the colonial and apartheid-sponsored migrant labour system.
