Vendors lauded Luderitz Crayfish Festival

The just-ended Luderitz Crayfish Festival has once again proven to be a significant boost for small and medium enterprises. 

Vendors who were showcasing their products and services say the festival exceeded their financial expectations. 

As usual, the annual event attracted a huge crowd of visitors and was filled with mouth-watering seafood, entertainment, a mini-expo, and fun-filled activities.

It's all systems go for this year's annual Luderitz Crayfish Festival, with all preparations in place to make the event exciting and bigger.
 
One of the festival's Board of Trustees, Clive Gawa!nab, said this during the event's launch and fundraising dinner at Luderitz. 

Gawa!nab says the festival, set for May 1st to May 5th, is expected to attract over 7,000 visitors. 

About 100 exhibitors, including corporate entities and SMEs, are expected to showcase their services and products at the festival.

Luderitz Crayfish Festival raises N$800,000

More than N$800,000 was raised at the 17th edition of the Luderitz Crayfish Festival at the fundraising dinner. 

Standard Bank Namibia pledged the highest amount of N150,000 towards the hosting of the festival. 

The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Derek Klazen, officially launched the festival in Luderitz. 

Renowned for attracting visitors and locals alike, the festival offers attendees the chance to taste fresh rock lobster, enjoy entertainment, and listen to live music.
