Electrical power structures are meant to benefit of all.

To raise awareness of electrical safety, the power utility NamPower launched its safety campaign called 'Pasop Stay Safe' at Mariental in the Hardap Region.

The safety campaign is aimed at cautioning the public not to build under or near electricity infrastructures. 

It is also illegal and dangerous to start a fire under a power line.

The public is also urged to refrain from illegal electricity connections and removing copper wires.
