The University of Namibia (UNAM) hosted the Redefining Education Summit, which aims to transform higher education into skills-based and innovative learning.

A funding injection of nearly N$5 million is set to transform education in the Kavango West Region, as new classrooms and facilities at Maporeza and Cause Primary Schools promise improved learning and better job opportunities for the community.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Arts, and Culture, Faustina Caley, has highlighted the shortage of teaching and learning resources, along with insufficient support, as crucial factors requiring immediate intervention in the Kavango East Region.
