The Namibia Security Workers Union (NASWU) on Thursday handed over a petition to the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations.

Security guards from different companies joined the march and the petition handover. 

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Petitions has embarked on capacity-building training aimed at strengthening its ability to review international treaties.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Human Resources and Community Development held a consultative meeting this week with the former employees of Air Namibia.

The meeting was in response to the two petitions submitted by the disgruntled employees of the now-liquidated airline to the National Assembly.
