WorldSkills Japan has been selected to host the 49th WorldSkills Competition, following an uncontested bid. 

The event will be held in Aichi after an overwhelming vote of support from WorldSkills members.

Namibia has sent 14 representatives to France to compete in the 47th WorldSkills International Competition.

The team consists of seven regions and will participate in various technical and vocational skills competitions.
