Vice President Nangolo Mbumba is actively calling on both the public and private sectors to open up employment avenues for 2,989 graduates from the National Youth Service (NYS).

This appeal was emphasised in a statement delivered by the Minister of Sport, Youth, and National Service, Agnes Tjongarero, on his behalf at the pass-out parade of the 14th intake of National Service Training in Henties Bay.

Mbumba says the government recognises the plight of the youth and the many challenges they face, such as a lack of skills and high unemployment.
