Nineteen-year-old Jeromius Rooi is diligently preparing for the highly anticipated Africa Triathlon Championships set to take place in Egypt next month. Triathlon involves swimming, cycling, and long-distance running.

Despite Rooi's previous participation in triathlon events, he and his team have faced challenges in acquiring the necessary equipment, such as the blade and the correct bike.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) donated training materials to the Ministry of Sports, Youth, and National Service's Multi-purpose Youth Resources Centre in Windhoek.

The donated materials will increase the capacity of the Windhoek Multipurpose Youth Resource Centre, the !Nauas and the integrated Rural Youth Camp by reviving skills training.
