Namibia mourns Activist Jacob Hamutenya

Namibians are mourning a youth activist and agriculturalist, Jacob Hamutenya (36), who died in a fatal car accident on Sunday.

Hamutenya and another passenger died at the scene, while the female passenger succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

AMTA Silo capacity too limited

The Agro-Marketing and Trade Agency's silo capacity for grain storage currently stands at 22,900 metric tonnes.

However, AMTA's Corporate Communication Officer says this is not enough to meet Namibia's current grain demand.
