The Operative Secretary of the Landless People's Movement (LPM), Dawid Eigub, says there is a need for the party to connect with all its members and establish the developmental challenges they face.

Eigub made the remark after an engagement with the community of Witvlei in the Okorukambe constituency.

Eigub stated that it's high time that the dignity of the people is restored by bringing development to them and contributing meaningfully to the country's economy. 

The Landless Peoples Movement (LPM) says its first ever policy conference paves the way for further policy debates, input, and value addition during public consultations.

The party says that in this way, it means to expand contributions to various sectors of society and the economy for all role-players.

Party delegates deliberated on policy matters including land, urban land and housing, education, agriculture, SME empowerment, state participation in the economy, poor access to health care, and mismanagement of public natural resources.

The leader of the Landless Peoples Movement (LPM), Bernadus Swartbooi, has urged his party members to serve in the interest of the nation and remain steadfast in their commitment.

Swartbooi made this appeal during the LPM's Political Action Committee meeting, which took place in Windhoek.

Swartbooi emphasised that the party will persist in holding its members in leadership positions accountable. This determination remains firm despite certain opinions labelling the party as unstable due to the recall of their councillors.
