President Geingob to undergo specialised medical treatment in USA

President Hage Geingob is to leave for the United States of America this evening to undergo seven days of specialised medical treatment there.

A team of leading scientists and medical professionals will carry out the specialised treatment on Dr. Geingob in Los Angeles, California.

Livestock thieves to appear in Karibib Magistrate's Court

Three suspected livestock thieves are in custody in the Karibib police holding cells following their arrest on Saturday.


They are expected to appear  in the Karibib Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, facing a host of charges, including attempted murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Former Journalist Bernhard !Gaeb Burried

The remains of the late Bernhard !Gaeb, a former journalist at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc), was buried on Saturday at Mariental.
 
The 65-year-old !Gaeb, also affectionately known as Ou Berries, died of kidney failure.

Festive season road safety Campaign launched

The National Road Safety Council's yearly holiday season campaign kicked off today with a gathering of road safety stakeholders in Swakopmund, in the Erongo region.
