The Zambezi Region's Education Directorate discussed the national examination performance of the learners over the previous years. 

The Zambezi Region has 120 schools, of which 111 are government, while nine are privately owned. 

In a bid to motivate Grade 11 learners to excel academically, Sikosinyana Senior Secondary School in the Zambezi Region has committed to hosting yearly awards for learners and teachers who perform well.
