The deputy minister of health and social services, Suzan Ndjaleka, has called for teamwork and unity from the health staff to improve Namibians' access to health care and social services.

The Minister of Health and Social Services says the Zambezi Region has faced daunting challenges in terms of health facilities, especially referrals of patients more than 500 kilometres away for specialised medical care.

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Esperance Luvindao, says there is a need for more focus on solutions rather than making excuses or complaining. She made the remarks at a business breakfast hosted by Lingua International Training College.
