The Namibia Blood Transfusion Service (NamBTS) is in urgent need of blood donations, with the current stock only able to last until tomorrow.

The service made a call to blood donors across the country to donate blood.

Faced with an alarming shortage of blood, the Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia joined forces with Shincheonji Church of Jesus volunteers to carry out a blood drive to boost blood stocks and save lives.

The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia is experiencing critically low blood stocks, the lowest the reserves have been in the past four years. 

The state of the nation's blood stocks is significantly low, and NAMBTS urgently calls on Namibians to give blood to help meet the heightened demand.

Namibia's Blood Transfusion Services (NamBTS) is grappling with a severe shortage of blood and blood products, posing a significant challenge for patients in hospitals and medical centres across the country.
