President Nangolo Mbumba emphasised that if re-elected, the Swapo Party will prioritise economic development.

Namibia's Vice-President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving lives through infrastructure development during the inauguration of the new Home Affairs and Immigration office in the ||Kharas Region.

The Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, urged the youth to embrace the party's manifesto, which includes targeted interventions aimed at addressing Namibia's socio-economic challenges.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Namibia has cautioned election officials to maintain integrity in the voter registration process and to avoid actions that could raise doubts about the credibility of the upcoming elections.

There are a number of SADC countries that will be holding elections this year. 

These are Botswana, Mauritius, South Africa, Mozambique, and Namibia. Zimbabwe and Eswatini already held theirs in 2023, while the DRC has just announced the results.
