February 4th will be remembered as one of the saddest days in the Namibian nation's history.

While death is a part of life, the loss of a Head of State is something new to the nation.

At the first memorial in honour of the late President Hage Geingob, the silence and confusion were evidently noticeable, and the pain of this sudden loss was deeply felt.

Family, friends, and dignitaries gathered last night to honour and remember Dr. Geingob at his residence, Casa Rosalia, for the first memorial service.
