Water crisis in north-central regions receive attention

Stakeholders in Namibia's north-central regions held a consultative meeting and raised the need to improve water infrastructure and the construction of new water treatment plants and desalination plants as a way to address the demand for potable water.

NamWater brings relief to village along Etaka Uuvudhiya Earth Canal

NamWater has switched on a pump at the Olushandja Dam South Wall Pump Station, releasing water into the Etaka Uuvudhiya Earth Canal, to assist in mitigating the critical shortage of water in villages along the canal.

The water corporation has invested N$3.9 million in the undertaking.
