The burial of Zambia's former President Edgar Lungu remains uncertain, despite the South African Supreme Court of Appeal's judgement favouring the family over the government.

The main case in which the Zambian government wants the family of the late former President Edgar Lungu to hand over his body was postponed in the Pretoria High Court in South Africa.

The Court has since adjourned the matter for judgement before Friday.

The Zambian Parliament yesterday debated the late Edgar Lungu's funeral impasse, with the country's Vice President, Mutale Nalumango, calling on the family to take charge.
