The main case in which the Zambian government wants the family of the late former President Edgar Lungu to hand over his body was postponed in the Pretoria High Court in South Africa.
The Court has since adjourned the matter for judgement before Friday.
The Pretoria High Court saw a hive of activities that included people demonstrating with placards over the late Edgar Lungu's burial impasse.
Lawyers from both parties made their final verbal submissions.
A panel of three judges heard the matter in a fully packed courtroom.
The court has since adjourned to allow for the preparation and delivery of judgement.
Acting Judge President Aubrey Phago Ledwaba, sitting with two other judges, said he understands the urgency of the matter, and judgement will be delivered soon, even tomorrow, but before Friday.
Earlier, the Gauteng High Court dismissed an application by a Zambian citizen, Vincent Kafula, based in Cape Town, who wanted to be joined in the matter as an interested party, but there was insufficient interest.
Zambia's Attorney General, Mulilo Kabesha, who brought the matter to court on behalf of the Zambian Government, told journalists after the session that the case went well.
The 5th of August marks exactly two months since the late former Zambian president died in South Africa, where he was receiving medical treatment.
