Namibia’s visa-on-arrival system has generated more than N$413 million in revenue in less than 12 months, Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security Lucia Iipumbu revealed during a Cabinet Committee Briefing on Friday.

Cabinet has approved the inclusion of 35 additional countries to the list of countries eligible for Visa on Arrival.

An administration fee of N$400 for a manually submitted Visa on Arrival application was also approved.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has launched visa on arrival services at an additional four entry points, bringing the total number of entry points in Namibia with visa on arrival to 11.
