President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah participated in the Ascension Day celebrations in the Onamutai community alongside many Namibian Christians.

Christians across the country gathered at various places of worship to observe Ascension Day, commemorating the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, 40 days after His resurrection.

Congregants gathered at various worship houses to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

One of these places was Tanidare Parish in Katutura, where they assembled from five o'clock in the morning to celebrate the resurrection of Christ.
