This was revealed at the celebration of the International Day of the Midwife, which took place in Windhoek.

Midwives urged to promote breastfeeding

The Independent Midwives Association of Namibia's representative, Tekla Mbidi, has urged fellow midwives to advocate for and promote breastfeeding.
 
Mbidi made the call during the celebration of the International Day of the Midwife in Windhoek.
