Justice and Labour Relations Minister Wise Immanuel has said that continued decentralisation of services will facilitate economic empowerment in the regions to easily access services.

With elections approaching, the United Democratic Front of Namibia (UDF) launched its manifesto on Saturday in Otjiwarongo.

As one of Namibia's oldest political parties, UDF leaders highlighted practical solutions to national challenges, hoping to resonate with citizens across the country.

Residents of the Kavango East Region have proposed to the 5th Boundaries Delimitation and Demarcation Commission to divide the region into two and create more constituencies, as some of them are overpopulated.

They made the suggestions during the commission's consultation at Rundu.
