The late youth leader Mandela Kapere's contributions to youth empowerment continue to be etched and celebrated across SADC and the African continent by his peers.

Kapere died in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 6th Session of the Children's Parliament, themed "Transforming Education in Namibia," resulted in the adoption of several key motions. 

The UN General Assembly President addressed a youthful audience of leaders, activists, and youth organisations, on the "Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development."

Dennis Francis underscored the crucial role of youth in driving sustainable development and securing a better future for all.

Windhoek's Kilimanjaro Informal Settlement was transformed into a hub of excitement and empowerment as the #BeFree movement, a wing of the One Economy Foundation, hosted an outreach event. 

Thousands of community members and children participated in various activities and accessed vital health services.
