Namibia's High Commissioner to Zambia, Goms Menette, says the influx of students studying in Zambia demonstrates the historical friendship that exists between the two sister countries. 

Newly appointed Namibian High Commissioner to Zambia Goms Menette today presented his letter of credentials to President Hakainde Hichilema. 

He was not the only one scheduled for Tuesday. 

Other diplomats from Japan, Germany, Ghana and Colombia also presented the letters of credentials. 

Botswana's High Commissioner to Namibia, Phemelo Rankoro, says the duties of a commissioner go beyond diplomacy and include facilitating trade. 

Rankoro made the remarks during a visit to Namibia's textile company, Dinapama.

The High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Namibia says relations with Namibia will continue to grow in several areas, to the benefit of the citizens of both countries.

High Commissioner Charles Moore spoke to nbc News following a courtesy call on President Nangolo Mbumba at State House.
