The President of the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), Panduleni Itula, said the government and Namibians at large have an equal responsibility to create and maintain a conducive environment for foreign investment to flourish.

Namibia has been ranked first in Africa and second in the world in the 2025 Greenfield Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Performance Index. According to the FDI report, the country climbed 10 places from last year, attracting nearly eight times more FDI projects than expected for its economic size.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is leading Namibia’s delegation to the 2025 US-Africa Business Summit, hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and the Angolan government in Luanda, Angola.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources visited green scheme projects in the Zambezi, Kavango East, and Kavango West regions. 

The visit aimed to assess the operational viability of the projects amid reports of non-productivity and dormancy.
