Namibians must equip themselves with skills needed for emerging industries such as nuclear energy, oil and gas, green hydrogen and critical minerals. 

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reaffirmed the government's commitment to tackling unemployment through natural resource beneficiation.

Nandi-Ndaitwah made the remarks during an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, a 24-hour news channel based in Qatar.

The Director in the Office of the National Council's Chairperson, Petrus Kavhura, has urged the government to act on the resolutions passed by the Junior National Council MPs.

Kavhura emphasised the importance of these resolutions and how they should guide future actions.
