President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reaffirmed the government's commitment to tackling unemployment through natural resource beneficiation.

Nandi-Ndaitwah made the remarks during an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, a 24-hour news channel based in Qatar.

The President also touched on the reparation negotiations between Namibia and Germany, land appropriation, HIV and AIDS funding, new emerging industries, and international cooperation.
