Grade 4 and 5 learners at Higher Hope Primary School in Walvis Bay have been sent home due to a lack of water at the school. 

Deputy Executive Director in the Ministry of Education, Edda Bohn, is reiterating that those who enrolled their children in unregistered schools should take them to formal government schools. 

A Grade 10 learner at Simanya Combined School in the Kavango West Region is in critical condition after allegedly attempting to take his own life Tuesday morning.

The Director of Education in the Kavango East Region, Christine Shilima, has suspended classes at Ndama Junior Primary School until further notice.
